Ramayana Chanting

A devotional journey through the life of Lord Rama

The Ramcharitmanas is a poetic retelling of the Ramayana, the epic Sanskrit poem by Valmiki. Composed in the Awadhi dialect of Hindi by the revered saint Sri Goswami Tulsidas Ji, this work was written in response to the Lord’s wish, with the aim of making the purifying stories of Lord Rama’s avatar accessible to the masses. The Ramcharitmanas is made up of seven kandas or sections.
